This leather bound hymnal was given to me several years ago by my next door neighbor.I was,at that time practicing vocal techniques and singing for hours a day. She told me one day, that my voice carried well on the wind and across the water and she would sit out on her back porch and listen to me practice.I was awkwardly embarrassed when she took this little hymnal from a glass curio she had next to her,and gave it to me,thanking me for ministering to her in song. When i found this site I remembered that i had tucked it away, and thought i would share it with all of you.
Copyright is 1908,by F.E. Belden. Entered at Stationers Hall,London,England Printed in the U.S.A. It is bound in black leather, and the inside leaflet cover pages are still here although not intact.(the green paper you see in the last pic).
Anyway,it means alot to me,and i hope you all enjoy it too.
