    I need some help. We found this in a friends basement and I have idea what it is. all I can say is it cast iron (i think) and has Japan with two Japanese symbols stamped on the bottom. Can anyone help?

      Hi,It's a fire starter! you put lamp oil or something like that in it and soak the wand! but be careful if you use it!!
