Loetz PG Vase, Dark Green with Red and Silver Spots - a Van Hauten commission, ca. 1902

Loetz PG vase, PN 714/1668, Van Hauten commission, ca. 1902. This one is about as well documented as you can get, yet we still don't know the "decor name". In the paper pattern notes, it describes it technically: Dark Green with red and silver spots. The iridescence is brilliant! The mount number 1668 stamped on the bottom of the pewter mount coincides with the Loetz paper pattern. This decor on other shapes has presented as a variation of PG 1/473, but I don't think it's quite that. We're still working on the numeric PG designation or decor name, if there is one.
