This clock came in two versions according to the Bulle 1925 Grand Prix Bulle Catalogue - Paris 1925, this version, and a wooden version which was model number Xb. It was burl wood with a rosewood marquetery border and lightening bolts. This model is pink marble with a Portoro marble border, it Measures 12" wide, 4" deep and 9" tall and weighs in at over 14 pounds. The lightening bolts on it are inlaid into the marble. I guess the lightening symbolizes that it is an electromagnetic clock that runs on one "D" cell battery.
The clock runs and keeps excellent time.
Lovely and so unusual!
