All I know is it is a 1923 copyright and it is from an orange crate. Wanted somebody's expert opinion on if it is worth anything and any more information you may have! Thank you!

Fruit crate art is very collectible, but not expensive. It really depends on the rarity of the image. I'm not an expert, but I do collect them from time to time, and rarely see any designs for sale over $20. Yours is a beauty though, great dog artwork! I can't tell if it's mounted & framed, or inset into something... that could affect the value if it's stuck onto something. Most labels that I buy are unused, and are just sold loose.
Relatively scarce label on original wooden crate end. This label if it was not on the wood, and loose (never glued to wood), would be worth about 100-150 dollars. When labels are on wooden crate ends such as this one, it is typically worth 10-20 percent of a mint one. Or in this case 15-25 dollars on eBay, no guarantee it will sell though, its not really a collectors item as a excellent one can be obtained. Sometimes labels that are on wooden ends are not available in mint condition, or unglued and in those instances the percentage of value can increase quite a bit. In a very respectful way I must contradict Stefdesign above. There are thousands of common labels available that are original but were found in large quantities that are very inexpensive, and which are by definition quite frequently seen at swap meets and antique shops. However, truly rare labels can fetch substantial amounts of money. If you look on ebay you will see alot of expensive labels, and the variety of rare labels is much greater than what you see on ebay. Hope this helps. Bob Booth.
I'm sure you're right. I'm not an expert, but I do buy labels that I like, not necessarily the ones that would sell for $100. So, I defer to your expertise. But at least I was right about unused/ unmounted vs. mounted!
Thanks for the much needed info!!...its not glued its just in the frame loose!!
