I have scoured the internet looking for any information on this kiddie car. My guess is that it is one of the very first attempts at a powerwheel style car. Note the strange look of no front wheels. It has to be rare because I can't find anything on it. I so hope someone knows something. But nothing ventured nothing gained. I have been hoping to find at least one other example. NOTHING!! There is some reference on a blog called Dr. Toy i think, but there are thousands of pages and no search engine to locate that article. PLEASE HELP ME LEARN ABOUT THIS TREASURE.. I am a beginning collector and this is my very first find.

I just picked up a car exactly like this but it is yellow. I haven't been able to find any info on it either! Mine is missing the cover for the headlight. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will post some information soon!

I have 3 of these. All new in the box. 2 are gold & one is a purple red that is similar to the one pictured. All were found in Portland, OR. Appear to be shipped to the same distributor or store & then never sold. Based on the colors & other Schwinn like details, I would guess these to be from 1968-1973 time frame. I once found one on ebay listed for $350, but it never got any bids.
