Hi, my adopted father gave me these handcut crystal salt & pepper shakers before he passed. They were his great-grandmothers. They are beautiful and I have just kept them in the original box. I have not yet had them appraised, It would nice to learn some history around them such as year and the value. I like plan to keep them safe for one of my future grandchildren. It says Post House on the bottom I think. Thank you for your help.

Thank you so much for that information. I will keep a index card with the box set. It's nice to know the history and origin of such beautiful cyrstal. I am hoping to be able to pass them along to my children grow up and have grandchildren. Thank you again.

I just bought one at a local Salvation Army. I can't find any markings on it. Inside the cap appears to be copper. Is that true of your set?
