    HELLO FENTON LOVERS!

I GOT THIS BEUTY A COUPLE MONTHS AGO. I'VE BEEN RESEARCHING EVERYWERE BUT THERE IS NO ANSWER FOR MY QUESTION. WHAT IS THE REAL PATTERN? WHAT YEAR IT WAS MADE? I'VE SEEN A COUPLE PIECE LIKE THIS FOR SALE, SO I FOUND OUT THAT IT IS ACTUALLY A BRIDES BASKET LINER. IT HAD A SILVER PLATED PRITTY FRAME. IT MEASURES 10'' WIDE AND 4'' TALL. I COULD NOT IDENTIFY THE COLOR NAME EITHER. TO ME IT SEEMS CRANBERRY, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE SOME OF THE RUBY SNOWCREST PIECES. THE PATTERN? SOMEBODY SELLS IT AS INVERTED COIN, OTHER COIN DOT. TO ME IT SEEMS LIKE THUMBNAIL. I AM CONFUSED. I LOOKED THE FENTON CATALOGES WHAT'S AVAILABLE ONLINE, BUT I JUST COULDN'T FIND THIS PIECE. IS IT REALLY ANTIQUE? IS IT REALLY VALUABLE OR RARE?
SOME PEOPLE WHO HAS THE SAME PIECE FOR SALE SAYS YES. PLEASE HELP ME OUT! THANK YOU.

It's Ruby Snowcrest, no pattern name included. It's hard to tell current value on the Fenton pieces that aren't hobnail right now. People on E-bay list their items really high, what a couple of months, then auction them for really cheap. I always get the best luck starting items off at .99 cents and 'gambling' to see what they sell for. I had one Fenton that ended up selling for $190, way more than I was expecting. If you're planning on keeping it then the current value isn't very important, it will always be changing.

I understand these are from the early 1950s; so not antique. The 1950 catalog that's online has it in a spiral optic shown, but with only b&w photos. Looks more like a honeycomb optic to me, but sure what Fenton may have named it; safe to simply say 'Ruby Optic Snow Crest', tho' from your images it does look more like cranberry. Fenton simply called it a bowl.

Thank you for valuable your comment! It is cranberry in real too. The same pieces I saw on sale has a pritty frame and the whole thing called "Brides Basket". I found some cataloges on Fentonfans.com but not all of them. I wonder were can I found the older ones... Maybe on Ebay? lol

Good luck finding out anything. I have a liner of green glass with white case glass and silver spangles - have been looking for the silver holder for 15 years...
