A real genuine antique or at least antiquish. If it isn't 100 years old yet it will be soon. I am judging 1920s just by instinct. That color pattern was popular back then. The advantage of enamelware over brass it that it is much easier to clean. Plus it is lightweight. The disadvantage is that the enamelware coating is glass and is quite fragile thus all the beauty marks. You want to see some of those when buying enamelware/graniteware to help make sure it is real and not repro.
Now to set up another playset.
These spittoons are great!! Never paid much attention to them until I recently acquired my first antique spittoon.
This reminds me that I never posted mine. I get so tired of seeing all the fake brass ones. Nice piece of history.
I love just about anything Old in enamelware
I even have a couple Bed Pans
I can carry a tune but
I’ll never carry a Spittoon
I have a piece of enamelware in my car I use for emergencies! Will Post soon.
