SHERMAN, UNSIGNED, PURPLE AND ALEXANDRITE BROOCH

In my early Sherman collecting years (this and next 2 posts) I collected a gaggle of like Sherman pieces in those early years. I just picked up 3 pieces and amazingly these 3 fit together well with like colourizations. This one not signed but very well like one I just gave away this last weekend to another Sherman collector. That one was signed !
This is one with hoops and horseshoes of graduaating or rising Alexandrite stones mixed with Purple stones. This example of one of his earlier works is very much like a paisley design. The tiniest purple stones which I cannot tell if light purple or Alexandrite must have been a nightmare to handset. There is a raised tiny cluster of purple and alexandrite stones which is almost telltale in what sherman did and produced, using clusters to add to flowers and sometimes as in this piece using that small cluster to create a small flower !~
