    Hello everyone!!
With Easter just around the corner, I thought I'd post one of my many Easter rabbits. I posted this rabbit about 7 years ago, but felt him worthy of a repost. This one is from around the 1900-1910 period and was made in Paris. I love this one and have kept him safely in an antique bookcase to protect him from the elements. He's made of composite and covered, not flocked, with a plush velvety type material. There are stitched seams in the covering that indicates it was fitted over this rabbit, and therefore, not flocked. His eyes are made of glass and he has a French advertisement on the basket with a list of items and the stores they could be purchased at. The small basket, sitting in front of him, is painted bronze. I've had this little bronze basket for many years, but I'm not sure of it's age. This rabbit stands 12" tall and weighs 1lb 3oz.

Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!

    Scott
