Picked this 1088-95 (IForget) model up last year while looking at some bicycles for sale. It was jammed up and the drawer wouldn't close & I took a chance on it. (HEAVY...VERY) I got it home and removed the drawer and reset the machine & it works like a charm. On the Bottom of the drawer it reads...
Jan. 11th 1946 'in service date" at I.H. Crews Dept. store in Winston Salem NC.
I didn't know until recently that the white porcelin stone was to "Tap" the coins against to check to see if they were real......"No wooden Nickles" !!!
