Cabinet Cards - many groups of cabinet card photos from the 1800 ‘s some cabinet cards are signed and originate back to the Tuft’s University “Graduation class of 1888 “, Photos of each member of the class are signed of each individual photo
Your guy with the beard on the far right is a Civil War veteran-- he appears to be wearing a Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Members badge and some other badges/ ribbons that I cannot see very well.
