I just bought this wonderful clock at an estate sale this last week end. It was 1/2 price Sunday the last day of the sale so was taking one last look. Then I saw this clock paid the 1/2 price sale of only $6.00. I searched the internet to find out something about it but couldn't. Lots of Telechron clocks but not one like this. I have mid century furniture so fit great in my living room right next to the big flat screen TV. It's strange to see it next to the TV, boy have things changed. I also have a Big Ben on my window ledge, I love winding it every morning and here the ticking. I had no idea how much I liked clocks until I bought the Big Ben. What joy. Thank you for reading my little story.

Nice Telechron, I have a couple in my collection. I have over 30 vintage clocks in my collection.I am now trying to figure out what to do with them.

Hi Barbara,
Nice looking clock! It's a Model 7B79 "Olympic," made between 1937-40 and originally selling for $9.95. The Olympic was designed by Telechron in-house designer Jacques Bars. The wood of the central section is Burma Padouk and the fluted outer pieces are walnut.

Does anyone know how much this clock might be worth
on todays market. Thank you
