Found this in a lot of paper that I purchased. Any help would be appreciated. I know that it has something to do with an 1894 theater or vaudeville act.

"The New Boy," a farcical play by Arthur Law, was first performed in 1894, at Terry's Theatre on February 21 and then at the Vaudeville Theatre April 21.

Bert Coote played the role of Archibald Rennick in New York in March 1899 and he continued to act in and manage the play:

I can't give you any information about your paper but the fold lines might indicate it was a poster. I'm sure someone with knowledge can give you some information as to what you have.
What is the size?
It's about 6" x 7". I am not sure if it has any value as a cabinet card of a poster of which an original does not exist. I am sure it is worth more than I paid because of Alfred E Neuman.
Earliest known pic of Neuman.
$1,000+
I would go to Heritage and get an expert to answer you. I have used Heritage to sell some of Mom's political pins, and I love them. They will tell you for free. BTW is you would choose to sell I would go with these guys too. They are trusted by all the major collectors. http://entertainment.ha.com/c/ref/worth.zx?ic=Left-WhatsValuable-071107
I picked this category for you. Scroll down for the free appraisal.
BTW if this is the wrong category, they will pass it on to the comic expert. It seems to me it's a cross collectable. Either way you'll get an answer.
Vestaswind, Heritage won't consign it until they know more about it. They are not sure if it meets their minimum value, but they may make an exception. I was told by one expert to contact enough non-Heritage expert who told me to contact a different expert at Heritage.
Gesh what? I never had that happen. Of course I actually had one of the big guys at my house some years ago, and I always go through him. But he has past on a couple of questions and they told me what I had no problem at all...So why does it say to ask for value if they aren't going to give it? I'll have to ask Tom what's up!
haha past=passed.
Thanks, the expert that I spoke to seemed to be barely knowledgeable on the subject. He just guessed about the value.
The expert that the 2nd guy recommended, I had spoken to outside of Heritage and he wasn't interested for himself.
Maybe they just didn't know, and didn't want to research it. This image is hard to nail down because it was used in so many different areas over so many years
Thanks Purpleisafruit6
Thanks Hedgewalker
Do you still have the item? I am interested. You can contact me at my name at yahoo.com.
I collect vintage comic and MAD-related photos, and will pay well for this photo!
