I don’t really like rocking chairs but I love chippy original paint. I could not resist this blue beauty when I saw it. It is very sturdy not like most antique rockers that are rickety and fragile. The joints are all drilled through with a wedges driven in a slot of the piece being joined. My question to the community is what era is this piece? The painted fruit may give a clue. Comments, guesses, and expertise is much appreciated.
