This is a super vase that I found online in Australia.
I've never seen this decor before, & it's already a favourite!
The vase is made from purple glass with an iridescent finish & a bottom up spatter in ivory, as well as some vertical lines in pale mauve.
It measures 13.5 cm tall, 5.4 cm across the top rim, & 6.5 cm across the base.
Extra interest is added to the simple form by four oval shaped indentations near the top.
Bohemian origin, circa 1900.
Perhaps by Kralik? Not 100% certain.
What a beauty! Kralik, i think it is ?!
Many thanks, DejaVu2!
I feel it is Kralik, even though I haven't seen this decor previously. The overall shape is similar to a couple of known Kralik pieces I have in the Harlequin Opalescent decor, minus the crimped tops they have.
The oval indents really make it, I think.
A lot going on in this one. I love it!
Many thanks, Wow22!
This is a typical Kralik shape and I own another vase, also of characteristic/unique Kralik shape with the very same décor on green glass with white spots.
Much appreciated, kairomalte!
