    These were my parents and before my parents they were my grandparents. I have about three or four of them, and they are very special and very well kept together.

      Sometimes the german steins had a mold number on the body around the handle, otherwise its on the base, under the music box. They would try to make it inconspicuous. If you find it, you can check it against the database at http://www.beerstein.net to find who the maker was.
