My dad bought these pieces in Europe in the late 50's, early 60's. The earings are from Lebanon, the necklace from Jerusalem. He frequented antique stores while he was overseas. I would love to know how old they are and if they have much value. Thank you!

I can't find anything on makers marks from Lebanon, but the stones definitely look like amethysts, commonly set in sterling silver antique/vintage jewellery. I've seen a lot of that 'beaded flower' design from the 1910's and 20's. Beautiful demi-parure however old it is!!

did you go to Guide to world hallmarks? Or Illusion Jewels Researching Costume Jewelry. Put names in search engine and add to favorits reference bar, it is a quick lookup for me. Doesn't have everything I am looking for but it is a start.
      Beautiful piece. Good Luck

I have a very similar set, also another necklace along the same lines. From my research the idea that sounds best is that people would by these after a religious pilgrimage to the Holy Lands.

I had a cross very similar to this and it seems they were popular in the early 70's. I think the metal may be a nickel plate if it's not sterling silver. It is very, very pretty.
