There is a new network production of the 1960 movie, Pan Am. At it's time it was a highly watch T. V. program.Here is a Pan Am collector's plate. Plate illustrates a Pan Am Martin M-130 flying boat, known as the China Clipper, made the first scheduled flight across the Pacific San Francisco to Manila.Flying time-60 hours,date, November 1935.
It is shown here landing in Hong Kong harbor. Issued, 1979.
