I was gifted this by my mom, she says that she was told that it is an antique. A bit of research tells me that it is a banjo barometer with marquetry. Most like this are quite old. But the thermometer on this looks 50's -60's to me? Could it have been a replacement on an older piece? Unfortunately I cannot find a maker name on it anywhere. Sorry they are sideways, I tried editing and reposting as suggested to me previously and it didn't work. Thanks!

It is a nice one, but these were also made to look older by adding marquetry. These were made well into the 1960's and newer !~
