Vintage gold earring

Hello I have been looking for things to get rid of fast, I noticed this and decided to look with a loop and this seems handmade to me, also looks like real high ct gold, maybe those little diamonds are real too, I am thinking of taking in for scrap as gold prices are so high, but after seeing this through a loop & seeing the amount of work gone into making it. It doesn’t seem right, I’m wondering how old and where it could be from but can’t see any mark at all
