Wonky Japanese cup

This little cup is just over 2.5" high and just under 1.25" high and indistinctly marked on the bottom. It is very irregular, so dimensions vary quite a bit around the cup. The images do not accurately display the finish. The colors are a bit washed out, are much richer, and the entire surface, inside and out, is quite shiny.

This is the cup that I wanted when I bought a pile of three cups. The crack occurred when the cup was fired and the artist then proceeded to glaze and decorate the cup over the crack which was sealed. It is a neat little cup with quite a bit of character, very wabi sabi. I have no idea of maker or age.
