I have come across a vintage Matchbox Mall Play Set still in the box. It has definitely been played with, but is in remarkable condition. I am really looking for some information about this set if anyone knows anything. From the look of the box it's from the late '60s or early '70s. I haven't been able to find much information about it online. Check it out and let me know what you think whether you have knowledge about it or not. It's a pretty cool piece.

This is a mid-70s set. Finding one in good condition is pretty rare because these were actually not made as well as the Hot Wheel counterpart that was considerably more popular.

I purchased this set as part of my collection back in the mid 70's. This is the first time that I have been able to find any information on it. I still have the parts that create the buildings, but no longer have the box or blue plastic mat.

I remember seeing this when I was around 10 years old. That would have been in around 1974. In the JC Penney store at Northpark Mall, Dallas TX. It appeared and disappeared so I never had one in my possession. It is rare, no doubt about it.

That may have been a JC Penney exclusive. It looks like the only brand name in the set.
