    Hi everyone,
    I have an old green plate that weighs around 650 grams. The surface is soft enough that I can scratch it lightly with a needle, and the mark stays. It feels quite heavy, and it has a floral and leaf design on the front.

    I’d love to know more about it – particularly:

    What material it might be made of

    How old it could be

    If the floral pattern has any symbolic meaning

    Which culture or country it might come from
