This canteen would have been a great find had it been not exposed with holes and all full of rust! Thats if you were looking for that. If you look closer it apparently was full with the lid on and run over by a wagon wheel and left. This was off to the side of an old wagon trail. Who could of used it or what was going on at the time, if you look at my other item you can piece the rest of my story along with this canteen. One of my questions about this canteen is how old is it. There's no markings that are visible and I've not researched it very much but if have an idea let me know!!
