Silver stamp box in perfect condition. Stamped "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN" on the bottom. Came from my grandparent's house. I've had it since 1993.

      Yes always, yes always,

The website wanted more of a "comment" and I didn't feel like saying anything else about the stamp box. Wishing you a great day, Pop, you are precious!

Thank you AR8 Jason, your comment was very helpful. What I'm looking for on it is simply if I am correct that it is a stamp box and was produced in the 1940s, or anything else of interest about it, there doesn't seem to be much on the internet that I can find. As I'm getting up there in years, I'd like to tell my son what it is so that he can decide if it finds it as "keepable" as I do. Indeed I can get a photo of it opened - currently and for as long as I can remember it has held straight and safety pins.
