    This is a brass bell from the PRR tugboat Altoona. The Pennsy numbered their tugs and the Altoona was #10. The Altoona was built in 1906 by Sparrows Point Shipyard in Baltimore. She was a 197 ton coal fired tug that was 92' long. The Altoona spent most of her time in the NY harbor.
