    I received this sign in the early 80's from the Queens, NY hardware store where I worked. It was and still is in the original packing crate. Still works too. Not sure of year. Dates on both tags end in 9, but is it 39? 49? 59?

      If you have the original transformer, it is dated on the ID plate.

      great idea. I have not had the original transformer for many years. I typically don't lose things, but I have no idea what happened to it. I have a different transformer now.

      I bet you it's Jan 54. Look in the upper right corner of your Lot Prepaid label picture. Even if I'm wrong about that number, I would estimate it somewhere in the 50's. Great find along with the original wooden shipping crate
