Thats really neat! I love to hear everybodys stories of how that first moment of collecting clicked. My daughter started digging old bottles and for some reason my collecting habits just grew from there. Don't you wish we had all those goodies from grandmas house? I have some ,but when I go to shops or fleamarkets I always see something from my childhood with a high dollar price on it an I say to myself, "Why didn't I know then what I know now?" There were so many things just tossed out by others just in the trash that I wish I had today. Or people just came along when my greatgrandmother died an took what they wanted leading my other family members to believe that certain items wasn't worth a nickle but I know differantly today. Its not the monetary value to me but sentimentality. Needless to say I have inherited many precious things, but I'm still able to capture some of my childhood favorites at fleamarkets, yard sales and shops. Thankyou for your comment I just love this website and being able to share thoughts with others.
