Glass Bottle that I'm trying to identify

I'm trying to dicover the properties of this glass bottle. The markings on the bottom is CORNING 4 Made in USA.

I can imagine the 4 is a cast number, but I cannot find anything like this on the Internet.

Any help would be appreciated.
