Love this lamp its simple but its still a hand painted hurricane lamp! it was bought for me at a fleamarket for $30.00 25 years ago I have no idea how old it is. it was my first one. Does anyone know how old this might be? I thought maybe late 60s or 70s. I was offered $100.00 for it before we got out the door with it. Thankyou!

$30 ? It amazes me that people will go to a box store and buy new lamps (with NO charechter) for more than you paid for this beauty !! Your time frame is right on.I would say 60s possibly early 70s.

Thankyou Hedgewalker. Your sooo right why do we need new things when we can get better quality in a antique an pay a lot less? I've found that to be true everytime. Sometimes for safety sake I have to change a wire are so in older lamps but it all pays off. thanks again for the comment!

      Gorgeous! Very nice find.

I have several lamps similar to this... I will have to take pictures and posted here as well.

Thankyou for commenting rural! By all means please show us your lamps. I love table lamps, I'm not much on overhead lighting. I would rather turn on three table lamps in a room rather than one overhead light. Thanks for stopping by!

Thankyou Hedgewalker I would say this lamp without a doubt is a 1970's lamp. Love all the comments! Thanks!
