I think that this may be for chilling beverages, like wine, with ice in the compartment but I'm really not sure. There are no markings that I can see. I received this as a gift and it came from an antique mall, neither the mall associate nor the giver knew what this was for or when it might be from. Any ideas?
I have one very similar to that but it does not have the cork stoppers. Did you find anything out about it? I am very curious about the thing. Please let me know what you know. thanks
