    No idea what this is. It has a cast iron base with steel slide coming out of the top. The cross pc. with the two stylus ends, the top finial, and the tooled knobs are brass.

      You have two scribes mounted to a transfer for use on a surface plate. Unless you know something about how and why these were used it is VERY hard to explain......this is truly a show and tell type of item. I was in the realm where these were used for roughly 15 years and still had a lot to learn. Very small group of collectors I would imagine since most of this stuff is well kept and plentiful..Sorry but I do not think it is worth very much.
