Wouldn't this have been difficult to make, because 11 points is not symetric? I found it at Goodwill and I just keep picking it up. The precision is amazing.

A lot of cut glass was designed using odd number segments, what diameter is this piece ? It looks very nice. Good find.

I was guessing earlier, the diameter is 7". It does have a very small chip on one of the points. Do you have any suggestions for repairing it? Should I consider filing it?

My 13 y/o daughter pointed out that the term "hendecagon" is 11 SIDED, which is not the same as 11 POINTS. It should really be called a 22 sided polygon.

Thanks for the reply, it would not be worth having repaired although it could be done. I never have anything filled but if you just wanted to use it I guess that may work. Regards vickie

Your opinion and courteous reply are both appreciated. I will follow your advice and leave as is. It was still a great find for $5 and a pretty piece, also.
      Kind regards,
      Brian
