    Good Morning,
I have been kind of busy, (lazy?), lately, but I have had some items I have been wanting to post. I love this site, and really like everyone that post's on here. It seems like I have known some people on here for ever! I have learned quite a bit on here and I find myself on here at least 10-20 times a day. I am hooked ! My "lunch, free time, etc." at work are spent on Collector's Weekly ! Afternoons, evenings off and on the same.
Okay here is my Sunday morning mystery. I found this at a yard sale and could tell that it was special. I could tell it was a tackle box because of all of the hooks in it. It looks like it may have been made to clip to your belt on the hip because of the curve. I was thinking maybe fly fishing, simply for the fact that you spend time standing in the water, casting, and it would be a nice place to keep extra flys. I was wondering if anyone had ever seen or had one of these before. There are no markings on it as to who made it. I also was wondering about the nine holes in the lid in the shape of a cross. I am sure someone on this site has seen one ! Thanks for looking.

While it works very well for tackle, it is really a bate box (worms).

Thanks for the information gundoc1 ! That makes alot of sense, holes are probably for air.

Thanks for the info AR8Jason ! I was thinking more like tackle, but it makes sense to have your bait right at your side.

ThriftyGypsy: The bait box you are showing is used mainly for cricketts-sometimes for worms with plenty damp moss.

Thanks sayer34 for the love and the information ! That definitely helps me verify it is a bait box ! T.G.

Asolutely not AR8Jason, I was trying to be polite to some feedback I received from another poster ! I totally agreed with your description and case was closed. I think it would be kind of hard to catch a cricket running around in there ! Your post was mystery solved, I forgot to check it off. You are always the final word !!!! T.G.

Whew, that's a relief AR8Jason !!! I will have to learn to decipher when you are joking ! That is a pretty deep question that you have posed.......I would have to say you are always right when you are alone !! That is what I would call a one sided arguement, lol. But would he still hear a tree if it fell ???? Talk to you later, and thanks for clearing that up for me . T.G.
