Found this item in a box of old makeup and miscellaneous cardboard items. It was definitely the most interesting item in the box. It looks like a metal can substitute for use during the war to save metal for the war effort. The container appears to be wax coated and the powder was still loose inside the container. The brand was Cashmere Bouqet. The back of the container says New Victory Package - Saves Metal - Do Not Place On Wet Surface. Definitely shows that everyone was required to do their part for the war. I am thinking that this was World War II. Thanks for looking. Has anyone else seen anything like this ?
