As far as I can tell, this is just an old newspaper clipping or magazine page that my grandmother put in a simple frame but this is one of those items that truly represents my grandmother's home to me. I remember it hanging in both houses--the one in California when I was growing up and the one in Washington where my grandparents retired to, living on my grandmother's childhood land.
I just moved to a new house this month and am still unpacking and arranging everything so I'm kind of posting as I go. This "picture" is now hanging above my Babygampa (as we called her. My grandfather was Biggampa) at the little family "shrine" I've put together.
