    I received this piece about 20 yrs ago in a box lot for $10.00 it was full of assorted and mismatched silver plate . This is marked on the bottom Haddon Plate Sheffield Reproduction. I have learned that this is the trade name for McGloshen and Clark Co of Niagara Falls and sold through Eatons dept Stores between 1900-1940. The front just has the T.Eatons Co Trophy engraved on it. I was wondering if this could have been an in store sample for people to pick from when choosing a trophy??

      It is just marked silver plate not sterling and I do have a round tray similar to your link with the same engraving as my item above ,but there is no presentation engraving on either one .Do they give trophy,s out un-engraved ?

      Mcgarrett50, it's called a covered serving dish. Normally, there is no liner but I have seen divided glass liners on new ones.
