This is a small Bohemian glass vase that was owned by my neighbor's grandmother. Her family came to this country in the late 1800s and they had a successful restaurant in the Chicago theater district called "The Annex." She had some incredible collections of fine sterling, Bohemian & Czech glass, crystal, and small collections of fine objects like > 50 different Limoges dinner plates, 75+ cups and saucers dating back to the mid 1800s, American cut crystal, and more. Ironically she never used it and when she passed away it was box up and store in my neighbor's mother's attic. When his parents passed away last summer he asked for my help in determining what to keep vs. sell at an estate sale. This is among the items I brought back from Chicago.
I really didn't know much about Art Nouveau glass until I started researching it on the web and at the library. I think this could be an early Moser but I really don't know. I am always open to learning more.
Love the Pink Color with Gold Applied Paint!
