Interesting piece. Freundshaft is the German word for friendship, and Wiesbaden is a city in Germany. Mattiaca was a word I wasn’t familiar with, but I found this on the internet:

Mattiaca is a Gaulish goddess known from Wiesbaden where she is associated with Roman Diana.
It is also a non-profit organization in Wiesbaden promoting the history of the area to residents and tourists.
It is also a celebrated hot springs in Wiesbaden, the Aquis Mattacis, which has been used since the Romans.
The Roman named their settlement at Wiesbaden “Mattiaca”, and the Mattiacs were the original inhabitants of Wiesbaden.

So, it’s a friendship medal from Weisbaden, but who issued this medal, to whom was it issued and when it was issued is still a mystery to me.
