    This 200 year old sewing machine is still in perfect working order! It produces a chain stitch, without a thread feed from the bottom through a bobbin like in the more modern versions.

      Cute little Wilcox and Gibbs. Can't be 200 years old, they were made from 1857. The serial number is on the side of the leg under the stitch plate. The A serial numbers went from about 1880 to way into the 1900's.
