This is a photo of an antique spirit heated copper, brass & pewter coffee maker. My Mother & Father found this at a bring & buy sale in a little village in the north west of England when they were first married, it was thrown in a box along with some old pots & pans etc & also a dog leash, which is really the only thing they bought this box of junk for. this coffee pot was black at the time ( having never been polished ) my mum cleaned it up & kept it polished ever since, which I am still doing as it was handed down to me at the time my parents passed away. They never knew anything about this item, where it was made, it's age, who it had belonged to or anything, & I have had no luck trying to find any info on this either ( on the internet etc ) If anyone out there can help with any information on this piece I would really like to know it's history. Thank you in advance Pete N
yes, there is a pat # on the base, had no luck researching that either. there is also a #6 on the lever that opens the lid, I belive that is to indicate that it is a 6 cup coffee maker, although they would be for small cups, other than that I cannot fine any information at all. I do appreciate your interest though. PETE N
