I am posting these photos of a beautiful vase I bought at an auction in Lockport, IL because I finally identified the pattern as "Scroll Embossed" which I found on David Doty's Carnival Glass website but I am confused because my piece is unmarked. It looks like Fenton but it does not have the Fenton trademark. Does this mean it is old or is it a reproduction? I've included a photo from David Doty's website as well as a photo of my piece. The colors are amazing and it is very iridescent. It measures 8" tall, 2-3/4" diameter base, 5-3/4" diameter at its widest point, ruffled outer edge is 5" diameter, and weighs 1.8 lbs. Any help identifying this vase would be appreciated. Thank you.
it is a Fenton 9155 vase and was not given a name. Fenton didn't mark all of their glass. You'll find this shape in many colors by searching: Fenton Glass 9155 vase
Fabulous! Thank you for solving this mystery.
yeah this is a great piece of fenton glass. it has a great carnival finish and a beautiful pattern! thank you for sharing! fenton didnt start making their items until the 1970's. this piece could be early 1970's and thats why its not marked...but i could be wrong. i dont collect this praticualr pattern.
