I had this watch given to me by my mum, who found it in the cupboard. It was a gift to my great uncle in 1888, I know this because along with the watch is a hand written letter stating this year that the gift had been recieved. There are no real markings on the watch that gives its history away, well not to me anyway. It comes in a protective silver case, and has a couple of numbers inside the case which are 0935, 65207 and a couple of stamps that i cant make out. On the workings there is the word Depose, and underneath this is N6718. Does anyone know its origin and worth, if any, Im at a loss, I have tried finding it on the internet, but others I have seen are all marked with names, I would appreciate any history..
