    I inherited this lamp and really don't know much about it. It should be from the 60-70th, I think. It is very heavy, with black finish, there is an iron round plate on the buttom of the base. There are no labels or identificatioin of any kind. Looks very decorative and gives a lot of light, intensity of light can be changed by a switch. I like it and would like to know more about it. Tried to find similar lamp on internet but no luck, not even close.
    I would really appreciate any information about this lamp

      This really pushes the edge of 'vintage'. I'm not that old and this is a new thing.

      Where is light? I am not able to find out light in this floor lamp. LOL...

      The light is tucked in into the hollow on the top of the lamp. The visible
      switch you can see sticking below of the top part turns it on and off and regulates intensity of the light. The light goes down and it is the hight for the reading so I guess it could be called a reading lamp.
