Here is a piece of Boston Red Sox history. This ball was used in game 2 of the 2004 World Series at Fenway Park. The Red Sox went on to win the series, their first World Series title in 86 years. The ball was tossed into the stands by Kevin Youkilis of the Red Sox after an inning ending play.An older woman caught the ball and was offered cash from a friend of mine who was at the game. He later sold the ball to me a year later, since he did not collect baseball memorabilia.

Hello. My name is Tyler Carrier, a small collector and part-time ballhawk. I have two interests in collecting. The first is to experience the baseball landscape around the world, which over time will entail me going to all sorts of leagues and major, professional events. The second—because I grew up in New England and am a life-long Red Sox fan—is to collect all of the commemorative baseballs that have been used throughout the Red Sox organization. One of the gems for that collection would be a game used ball from the 2004 World Series. The ball you have here is a gem. Could it be for sale? Thank you! - Tyler
