This is a Texaco Motor Oil & Gasoline ad from the November 7, 1925 issue of The Saturday Evening Post. It is in exceptional condition for 86 year old paper. The reverse of each pages are not continuous; the reverse of the "Tex" portion includes the first portion of a short story titled "City Slickers" and the reverse of the "aco" page includes advertisements for several Wahl ink pens.

These are going to be promptly framed (together) and hung on the wall. These have to be the best examples of magazine advertising I've come across, given their age and condition.

Any recommendations on matting & framing these? I've kicked around a few ideas, but I'm terrified of destroying them...

Just an idea to kick around. Using the top of glass display cabinet, place your two pages, then cover with another sheet of glass. This will keep them in place, pressed and still be able to use the display cab for other treasures. Again just an idea to kick around.

Pretty good idea, Kerry. Thanks for the idea! Definitely one I will think about for these and other paper items.

I have seen people press paper money between two piece of glass and fab a frame around same, the money doesn't slide because of the close flat surfaces of the glass, would be easy and could have plain constuction paper for a backing ( you wouldn't need any glue or anything that would scar the add)

Now that's a heck of an idea I could handle without paying an arm and a leg for professional framing! Thanks again, Kerry!
