Thanks wolcott !!!
Hedge, you're the best person to ask, I think. I found a light green Coca-Cola fountain style glass, and you know what?, It's uranium glass, any ideas on date? will post pics when I get batteries for camera, it died after I got the white light shot
It glows bright green under blacklight? If so it is pre WWII. Or a recent repro ,which I doubt . I have never seen one.I have seen old Coke bottles that are Uranium glass. They are rare and go for $100 + on Ebay.Cool find kerry !!
Why did they ban it? They needed the ingredients that are part of the "recipe"? What for? Bombs?
These are beautiful Hedge.
Amber I think it was a combo of the US wanting tight control due to testing , and fear of it falling into enemy hands. The use of uranium in warfare was still new then. Little was known of it's full potential.
Thanks kerry and pickr !!
Thanks van,Beaux and Marc !!
