old minature cars they say made in the U.S.A. by the wheel wells
1 car the back wheel has dry rotted found them back in 1969 in the basment up in the rafters would like any information on these if possible
Definitely slush mold. the fact that the bottom is semi closed is unusual. Look to be patterned afte 40 era Chrysler products. Neat little cars.
hey thanks for the info now i know more than i did before
I have a few of these that I inherited from my mother. They are the prize that came out of Cracker Jack boxes, from way back when you actually got cool stuff. I couldnt place a year but I'd say the 40's or so but no expert. 3 that I have she said she pulled from the box, so I hang onto them for nostalgia.
Thanks so much for the info on them.i didn't have a clue where they came from
glad back then didn't go by weight or you would of got 2 kernals of cracker jacks and then the car..hows your rubber tires doing? i seem to have lost 1 of mine on the 1 car from dry rot?i am also keeping mine just from the memories of a kid finding them in the old house we moved into when i was young btw i still live there.
I would guess they were made by Barclay
